TITLE Can AI Help Entrepreneurs Make Better Business Decisions? A Review of Predictive Analytics, Market Research, Pricing, and Customer Segmentation in Startups
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence or AI is now helping entrepreneurs to analyse data and take data-informed business decisions. This study examines the potential impact of AI on startups, with a particular emphasis on predictive analytics, market research, pricing, and customer segmentation. The study focuses on using secondary academic literature found via academic libraries to explore the ways in which AI can be applied to forecasting, customer understanding, pricing, targeted marketing, and resource allocation. The review also takes into account issues such as data quality, implementation costs, privacy issues, algorithmic bias, and lack of technical skills. The results suggest that AI can support human decision-making processes when used alongside human judgment, experience, and ethical considerations to boost entrepreneurial decision-making. The study emphasizes the role of responsible use of AI in the sustainable growth of startups.
